Our Mission
The CSR provides a safe, supportive community in an effort to enhance student’s ability to thrive socially and academically while living in recovery. The CSR strives to empower students by offering student led peer-support groups and individual counseling with a mental health professional. Presentations and educational workshops discussing addiction, harm-reduction, substance use, and eating concerns are available to faculty, staff, and students. Support services are free and available to all UTD students – those in active recovery and those who are curious about their health and wellness.
